U. M. Special Sundays – Special Sundays are designated Sundays throughout the year that provide opportunities for giving. These special offerings are earmarked and support designated ministries. These church wide offerings help support ministries that touch lives all around the globe. Remember you can celebrate these Sundays and any Special Sunday on a day of your choosing.

Human Relations Day – This offering supports ministries of social justice and outreach like the Commumunity Develepors, Volunteer Service and Youth Offender Rehabilitation Programs. This fund is administered by The General Board of Global Ministries and The General Board of Church and Society.
UMCOR Sunday – This special offering underwrites UMCOR’s (United Methodist Committee on Relief) administrative costs so that all designated gifts will go to the project you specify. Your gifts ensures UMCOR’s response in times of crisis so that 100% of gifts to UMCOR help those who need it most. This fund is administered by The General Board of Global Ministries.
Peace with Justice Sunday – Because of the Peace with Justice Sunday offering, the people of The United Methodist Church are able to make a difference together by sowing seeds—and yielding fruit—of peace.
World Communion Sunday – This offering supports diverse mix of national and international ethnic young adults to make a global impact for Christ. Half of the offering benefits World Communion Scholarships for graduate students from the U.S. and other countries; the remainder assists Ethnic Scholarships for U.S. and international undergraduates studying in the U.S. and Ethnic In-Service Training. These funds are administered by the General Boards’ of Higher Education and Ministry and Global Ministries.
United Methodist Student Day – This offering help provide for over 70 scholarships available for United Methodist students to further their education and enrich the life of the Church. The fund is administered by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.
United Voices for Children – Every 5th Sunday (supports Illinois agencies that speak and act on behalf of children, youth and families in need.), in 2022 the dates are: January 30th, May 29th, July 31st and October 30th.
