INVOCATION
Eternal God, you are who are high above the heavens; God you whose glory we behold in all of creation and in this sacred space; we come to glorify you, to praise you, to lift you up! Be glorified in this place! Let your holy spirit rest on each one gathered here this morning. Help us to know that you are with us, when we feel alone. Restore our hope, our faith, and our zeal to serve you. Heal in this place and renew a right spirit within us, that we might, with our whole hearts, live for you. We pray in the name of your son Jesus Christ. Amen.

CHARGE & BLESSING

Sisters and brothers,
however dark the night gets — whatever might seem hopeless to you—
know that you are held by a love like this:
God, the Creator, who made you still claims you in covenant love;
Christ, the Redeemer, who died for your sake, lives again by the resurrection power of God;
the Holy Spirit, the Sustainer of all of creation, now breathes courage into your heart.
Go, then, and serve boldly, knowing that you are loved, saved and empowered by share this hope that you have with others. AMEN.
