On Saturday, October 8, 2022 between 9am and 1pm, St. Mark United Methodist Church, 8441 S. St. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, IL is hosting a four-hour workshop for people of African descent, focused on
- Defining racial trauma
- Discussing the significant impact of racial trauma has historically had and continues to have with Black people in the UMC
- Discussing coping strategies that have been used by the Black community for healing our trauma.
